GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST(GPAT)
Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a National Level Entrance Examination for entry into M. Pharma Programme. Till 2018, the Test was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NTA is conducting this Test since 2019.
This Test facilitates institutions to select suitable Pharmacy Graduates for admission into the Masters (M.Pharma) Program. The GPAT is three hours Computer Based Online Test. A few scholarships and other financial assistance in the field of Pharmacy are also given on the basis of GPAT Scores.
The GPAT Score is accepted by all AICTE/Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) approved / affiliated University Departments / Constituent / Affiliated Colleges / Institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2, including lateral entry students) or equivalent from a recognized university. There is no age restriction for appearing in GPAT – 2023.
NIPER JEE is also known as the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Examination. It serves as the gateway for aspiring students who wish to pursue postgraduate courses in pharmacy and related fields at the prestigious National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) institutes located across the country. Established by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, the NIPER institutes are renowned for their excellence in pharmaceutical education, research, and innovation.
The exam evaluates candidates’ knowledge in subjects like pharmacy, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmacology, and more. Successful candidates who clear the NIPER JEE gain admission to the various postgraduate programs offered by NIPER institutes. (NIPER Mohali, NIPER Ahmedabad, NIPER Guwahati, NIPER Hajipur, NIPER Hyderabad, NIPER Kolkata, NIPER Raebareli). It opens doors to exciting career prospects in pharmaceutical research, development, manufacturing, and education.
GATE
The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science for admission into the Master’s Program and Recruitment by some Public Sector Companies. GATE Examination is conducted jointly by the seven Indian Institutes of Technology at Mumbai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Chennai, Roorkee & Indian Institute of Science at Bengaluru on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
