Sports events are an important part of the curriculum, as they help to promote physical fitness, mental health, teamwork, and leadership skills among the students. Channabasweshwar Pharmacy College (Degree) organized regularly sports events in the college campus, and the participation and performance of the students should be recorded and evaluated. Every year our students are also participated in the various university, state and national level sports with financial aid given by college. Some of the common sports events that are held in college campus are cricket, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, chess, carrom, and athletics. These events provide an opportunity for the students to showcase their talents, compete with their peers, and interact with faculty and staff. Sports events also foster a sense of camaraderie and belonging among the students, and enhance their self-esteem and confidence.

Objectives & Functions

Objectives:

The goal is to be victorious in all sports discipline.
To inspire the college students to become the Champions.
To provide good sporting facilities and latest training programme to the students.
To nurture sports talent in students.
To maximize participation in sports and physical activities.

Functions

Organization of Sports activities and Tournaments on the campus and affiliated colleges.
Various levels of Tournament.
Prepare the students for IUT Tournaments at state, Zone and National Level.
To conduct workshop for upgrading knowledge and skills of students.
Development of facilities for sports and physical activities.
Implementation of sports policies and regulations laid by authorities.
